"Car’s been mostly good, but had a small issue"
The car arrived in good shape and it’s been running okay overall. After about two weeks, though, I started hearing a weird belt noise, so I had a local shop take a look just to be safe. Vroom did help with part of it, which I appreciate, but I still ended up paying out of pocket for the inspection. I think that’s fair to mention because the experience wasn’t bad, just not totally hassle-free either.

"Pickup scheduling was more frustrating than it needed to be"
Buying the car itself was fine, no real issues there. But trying to schedule the pickup was a headache. The time kept changing, and I had to call more than once just to get a straight answer about what was happening. It felt like nobody was on the same page, which got annoying. The car turned out fine, but the lack of clear communication during pickup really took away from the experience

"Those hidden fees were really, really annoying"
The car itself was fine, but the price was not what I thought it was going to be once all the extra fees got added on. It felt like they didn’t really show the full cost upfront, which was annoying, annoying enough that it kind of ruined the whole thing for me. Support was okay, just really slow to get back. Not the worst experience ever, but I probably wouldn’t use vroom.com again unless I checked every single charge first.

"Trade-in offer was just okay"
I used Vroom to get a trade-in quote for my SUV, and the process was simple. The website didn’t give me any trouble, and they got back to me faster than I expected, so that part was fine.

The offer itself wasn’t awful, but it was lower than what I was seeing from local places. I know they have to leave room to make a profit, but I was still kind of like, why is it that much lower?? It just didn’t feel quite right to me.

I ended up passing on it. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience at all, just sort of average if you’re hoping to get a really solid trade-in number.

The whole sales process took way longer than it should have. I spent a lot of time just waiting around, and it didn’t feel very smooth or organized. It also seemed like things were handled carelessly, which made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Got it done, but communication needs work"
Vroom did end up getting the job done, and everyone I spoke with was polite, but the communication really could’ve been better. I had to call a few different times just to get a clear update on where things stood, which was frustrating. If there are delays or something is still being worked on, that’s fine, but I do think customers should be kept in the loop without having to chase down answers. A little more accountability and clearer follow-up would’ve made the experience much better

"Not in the condition they listed"
The car was listed as being in great condition, but when it showed up, it had scratches, a dent, and some interior wear that definitely wasn’t mentioned. The photos made it look way cleaner than it was. I reached out to support, but it mostly just turned into a back-and-forth. Frustrating since I bought it based on the listing

I appreciated that vroom had the price and fees laid out clearly from the start, so I wasn’t sitting there trying to guess what the total would be. Taxes and delivery costs were easy to spot before I moved forward, which made the whole thing feel more straightforward. "Rude driver and totally messed up my plans"
The delivery guy was rude. He barely said a word, acted like I was bothering him the whole time, and then left the car dirty in my driveway. I had plans right after the drop-off and ended up having to deal with the mess instead, which was really frustrating. Just felt careless and unprofessional.

I wouldn’t use Vroom again. The whole thing just felt sketchy and unclear from start to finish, which is always super fun when you’re dealing with something as small and relaxing as buying a car. "Refund took forever"
I cancelled my order getting the refund back was way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. Every time I called, I got a slightly different answer, and then I’d hang up thinking maybe it was handled, but nope, a few days later I’d be calling again. It felt like nobody really took ownership of it, which was frustrating. I don’t know, maybe I just had bad luck, but after all that back and forth, I wouldn’t use Vroom again.

I got my car from vroom.com i was fully prepared to find something annoying. Like, you know how used cars can show up with that weird leftover smell or crumbs hiding in every little corner? But nope, this thing was actually super clean. Seats looked fresh, no funky odor, and even the cup holders were wiped out, which somehow feels like the real test.
I had already planned in my head to do the whole quick wipe-down routine because apparently I don’t trust anything, but I didn’t even need to. Kind of ridiculous that I was bracing for a mess and instead got a car that looked really well taken care of. So yeah, pleasantly surprised and happy with it

Buying the car through vroom.com was fine for the most part, but the title and registration process really tested my patience.
I kept having to follow up to see what was going on, and the updates I got weren’t always very clear. It eventually got handled, but it took longer than I expected and the waiting around was frustrating.

The customer service reps were polite, which I appreciated, but I wish they had been more upfront about the timeline. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely could’ve been smoother.

“I personally believe they got so many bad reviews because they did a bad job running things with their customer service during COVID. I just bought a car here and it was a great experience. I started buying on 9/29 and it was delivered 10/11. It is exactly like the pictures & I am happy. I would say give it a try. They do have a return period if you don't like the car.”

It seems as the problem you have are not being handled properly. why should i trust a company that sells car online?

Yes i told them i need my car for business and the paper work takes more than a month and idont know what to do now?
